Hi, I'm Sky, welcome to my portfolio.
Before I started tattooing in 2020, I worked freelance as a graphic designer for many years. Along with a few or more various other job titles such as Firefighter & EMT, Horse Wrangler, U.S. Army Solider, and Professional Magician.
Life has certainly been an adventure!
Mostly one of me traveling a lot and trying to find my place in this crazy world!
With an eye for details, a passion for art/design, and with some intermediate knowledge of the human body, tattooing just made sense!
I like to say that it was; "Love at first stab!"
My favorite is part is working with my clients to help them see their vision brought to life. I love hearing the fun stories that go along with each tattoo, even if it's the: "Because I was drunk and lost a bet!" tattoos! LOL Yes, I also do cover-ups.
As luck would have it, I moved to MN after spinning a wheel of options. Since then I have found my dream job and my dream partner with whom we are starting our dream life/family together. It's safe to say I have finally found my place in this crazy world. MN is my home now, the place where dreams come true!
I am also #DeafFriendly and speak ASL for anyone deaf or hard of hearing.
Not yet as fluent as I would like to be however I am and have been very passionate about ASL for quite some time now. I believe it is the most beautiful form of language there is, and work on building my vocabulary every day.
Please be patient with me as I may ask you to sign slower, I will do my best to keep up.
:)
Thank for reading my short bio-

I consider myself a pretty well rounded artist, having done a lot of black & grey, trash polka, and other various styles over the years. Between you and I, anything I can do that involves working with color is my favorite! (insert heart-eyes emoji here)
But what I REALLY love doing is creating custom characters to fit with my clients needs. Like these mother daughter mice with the cheese cake!
Each mouse uniquely designed to represent the clients that got them.
I have so much fun with doing tattoos like those!
Or the one below in the photo gallery, with the Dragon, Tiger, and their two kids. A whole family portrait of them as their Chinese zodiac animals.

- Keep the bandage I put on you for at least 2-3 DAYS, not hrs.
- When you take the bandage off, I suggest doing so in the shower (so it's less painful). Wash your new tattoo with "Antibacterial Soap"
- I recommend Aquaphor for after care ointment. Apply a few times a day or as needed to keep your tattoo from drying out during the healing process.
- Keep your new tattoo out of the sunlight! I know you want to show off your new ink, but try to keep it covered while it's still healing. Please do not sunburn my artwork, if your tattoo can't be covered then remember that sunscreen is a real thing, use it!
- DO NOT go swimming or sit in any hot tubs with your new tattoo. You will waterlog it, raising the risk of infection.
- Avoid using any products that are have alcohol or perfume. They will dry out and potentially damage your new tattoo.
How long does it take for my new tattoo to heal?
- Everyone heals different but ultimately that depends on how well you take care of it. Usually it takes humans about 3 weeks to 1 month to completely heal from a new tattoo.
I have been tattooing since 2020. Subtract that from whatever year you're reading this in.
Yes, I am licensed Body Art Technician through the state of Minnesota, working ONLY from a licensed tattoo shop, as required by MN state law!
Nope! I ONLY work out of licensed tattoo shops. Where I know there is a clean, safe environment that is already set up for me to work.
The pain is different for everyone, it really depends on your pain tolerance, where on your body your getting your new tattoo, and the artist doing it. In my experience women can handle the pain better than men but regardless, when I tattoo it feels like baby unicorns are licking it onto your skin. :)
- Try not to drink to much alcohol at least 24 hrs. before you come in.
- Eat a good meal at least 4 hrs. before you come in. Not just a snack!
- Wear comfy clothing, something lose fitting.
- Do Not, I say again for those in the back, DO NOT be pregnant OR nursing! I can not and will not tattoo you if you are!
- Your drivers license or passport, some sort of government issued photo ID that shows your name and date of birth. You Must Be 18 or older! It can not be a copy of, or a picture of, it NEEDS to be the real deal actual documents.
- Depending on the size of your tattoo or how long it will take, you may want to consider bringing your own pillow to be more comfortable during your session. It's not a requirement, just a heads up.
- I do not offer any numbing cream. If you are worried about the pain, you are welcome to buy your own if you would like. However I do not recommend it, see next Q.
NO! Please don't use numbing cream. I'll still tattoo you if I must, however I would prefer you not use any numbing cream for several reasons. Here are my top 5.
5) It changes the texture of your skin, I don't know how to explain it exactly, but it feels weird for me to tattoo into.
4) It's going to wear off mid session if not sooner, and when it does ALL of that pain that you should have been feeling the whole time is going to come back WAY worse, making you twice as sensitive.
3) It eats up too much of our time. Every time it starts to wear off, we'll need to keep stopping so you can reapply during the tattoo session, losing valuable time.
2) Every time we need to stop so you can reapply, it breaks my concentration. When I sit down to do a tattoo, I get hyper focused and really into what I'm doing because I want to give you my best work possible. I can't do that with the reasons all listed above.
Last but not least my Number 1) It's a tattoo, it's suppose to hurt a little bit so ovary up bro, you got this! I'm pretty gentle with a needle (as my client reviews say) you're in good hands.
Yes, there is a $100 non-refundable deposit required to book an appointment, which goes toward your tattoo as long as you show up for your appointment.
All tattoo sessions start at $200 per hour. Follow me on Instagram or Facebook to see when I'm offering deals and discounts.

As soon as you walk in, one of the first things you might notice is how open and brightly lit the shop is.
With all of the different colors painted on the walls, this studio screams creativity. With dragons flying over head, and all sorts of art work you'll just have to come see for yourself.
It's the perfect place for any artist to work, have fun, and get inspired.
Yup, you are seeing that correctly. The owner of Crazy Lady Ink wanted to do a little more with the community other than just supply them with great body art. He built a full stage in the back of the shop with professional sound and lighting. Currently set up for Santa, but there are so many plans in the works; I can't wait to see what 2024 brings!
I might even put on a magic show!
